As early as last week, I’ve been excited to share with you 5-ways to add pink spring decor to your home. The items I used are uncomplicated, yet elegant. I have to admit that this is my first time to consider using artificial branches and flowers. I wasn’t sure though how it would turn out as I always gardened plants. I love seeing the beautiful flowers blossomed during spring and summer seasons. But I believe the results will be amazing because the ones I picked are immaculately natural looking pieces.
Like many others, I highly anticipate for this upcoming spring. I know. I know. It comes every year. And it doesn’t have that much of a difference weather wise here in Florida. The anticipation is much more on the meaning of the season because it signifies hope, a new beginning, and a new life. Spring also means pink, blue, and green are in and incorporating home decors with Easter. And of course, it comes with cleaning, organizing, and decorating on our to-do-list and checking it off along with DIY-ing.
Here are 5-ways to add pink spring decor to your home:
If you’ve been following along for a while now, you’ll notice that I pay personal attention to centerpieces. There’s something in it that makes me do what I do. Perhaps because its arrangement is highly noticeable to your family as well as your guests regardless of where it’s located in your home.
This spring, I decided to decorate our home with a touch of pink and incorporate it with blue and green. I already have an idea to get a white decorative tray to corral the items for a centerpiece in our front room. With so many options available, it took a while for me to decide which item to purchase. After all that, I’m confident that my choice is gorgeous! It’s a white round cut out decorative pattern tray with gold metal handles. Then, I added two white candle holders which I’ve owned for a while now, a cute diamond ceramic mug, and faux hydrangea in a whitewashed wood cube.
#2 End Table
The end table in our front room is the newest addition. I got it from one of my trips to Home Goods. Have I told you that Home Goods and I did not make it to the great combination list? Well, at least I made my husband aware of the fact! Huh, that’s why I have limited trips to that store. 🙂
Here we go. .. On the end table, I added a pink boss girl ceramic mug, white photo frame with pink printed textile insert, and a white ceramic vase with natural looking, artificial silk tulips buds. It’s sure a simple way to decorate a touch of pink this spring!
I designated the Caribbean blue linen armchair in our front room as my reading chair. This is one of my online purchases at Walmart during the first stage of my decorating plans for our home. On my reading chair, I added blush lumbar pillows that I got from Joss & Main and a faux pillow from Home Goods. Indeed, another simple way to add a touch of pink this spring!
The truth is, decorating doesn’t have to be complicated! It should be an easy doable task for everyone so that no one feels intimated by it.
#4 Colorful Mugs
On the console table in our dining room, I added a white decorative tray to corral two sets of cute diamond ceramic colorful mugs. By now, you know that I’m all about simplicity. It unquestionably resonates my personality.
#5 Decorative Basket
For this season, I’m going to at least partially cover the fireplace with a basket. This decorative basket I got from Joss & Main is a real deal. Its multi-use capability has positively made it irresistible for a good buy. In it, I added 39-inch artificial cherry blossom branches with white and pink silk flowers. The result? I’m in love with this! It surely where it should be. Don’t you agree?
While my decorating is minimalist style, my goal is to share with you the beauty of simplicity. It’s true that there are tons of ideas on how to decorate your home. Pinterest alone has already endless possibilities. Find which style resonates your personality. I sure admire many of the spring decorating ideas and much more on Pinterest. In fact, I’d be the first person to say what am I going to do without it. With complete disclosure, since I was a little girl, I’m drawn to simple yet pretty and elegant looking items and arrangements. So, there. .. Now you know the root of my simplicity approach to decorating and hmmm almost in everything.
Your turn. ..
I’d love to know about your decorating style and preference in choosing decor items and things in between. I’m a firm believer in forming a community by getting acquainted with each and one of you whether from your cleaning, organizing, decorating favorite style and item to your goals in dressing your home. Having said that, I have few questions below which are great conversation starters to get to know you. Don’t you think?
