But if you’re like me who waits after the New Year to strip off the ornaments, we sure have plenty of time to plan well on how to organize the items and decide what storage to use. I have had already a few storage bins from the previous years, but because I had purchased new decors this year, I’m hunting for additional storage bins.
The 10+ Christmas ornaments storage ideas are list of items I have already owned, items I have on my wish list, and those that are free.
Let’s dive in!
10+ CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS STORAGE IDEAS
CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS STORAGE I HAVE ALREADY OWNED:
Tree Storage Bag – I have two of these of different sizes. One is 25″ H X 20″ W X 65″ L, large enough to hold a 9 ft disassembled artificial tree and the other is 20″ H X 15″ W X 50″ L, large enough to hold a 6 ft disassembled artificial tree. It’s strong tear-proof material which includes a plastic tag compartment on the side. It comes in green and red. I got two green ones.
Every year, we choose to have a real tree, and we always just had one. But this year, we have three Christmas trees of which two are faux flocked trees and one is a real tree. Read our 2018 Christmas Home Tour post here.
Ornaments Storage – I had the gold storage that could fit 112 ornaments. I have three of these to store our favorite ornaments. It has side handles and cardboard dividers and comes in gold and red. I got the gold ones. I have to admit that this storage can get pricey so, I use plastic bins for the others.
Clear Storage Box – Great for storage! I used four various sizes. Walmart has many options available in sizes and shapes. I choose to buy these items at the store to avoid large Amazon packages at my doorstep.
Wreath Storage Box – If you have favorite wreaths that you use every year, this storage box is a good investment. It comes in clear and red, and stores wreath up to 24 inches in diameter. I have three of this, and it can be stacked easily.
