Have you heard? The Kitchen Organization Challenge starts on January 7th!
I’m beyond thrilled to announce the 1st year of the Kitchen Organization Challenge by Organized Neatly. Maybe, you’re wondering why it’s only organizing the kitchen. Why not the entire house? Well, the kitchen is the heart of the home, but most of the time you let this space becomes the drop off zone for everything. Remember those items you’ve dropped off that you’re supposed to organize? They’re still there after a few days and guess what, it’s piling up!
Perhaps, you’ll agree with me that every new year we set goals, big goals actually to organize our home and our life. But too often, we fail, and then, we get discouraged. How did I know? Because it happened to me. Years ago, I was all about taking major projects and giving myself almost unrealistic deadlines. I practically set myself to failure. While working full time with a demanding schedule and taking care of my family, I set goals like organize our kitchen, bedroom, and closet in a week. Then, I failed. .. Many times! Sound familiar?
In this Kitchen Organization Challenge, we split the space into seven sections: upper cabinets, counter, drawers, lowers cabinets, under the sink, fridge, and pantry to ensure focus and set an attainable goal. The challenge runs for 7-weeks. Feel free to tackle more than one section in a week as your schedule permits.
