Are you a pet parent or in the process of becoming one? Are you looking for tips in organizing pet food and storage ideas? Is that a yes? Well, you are in the right place, friend.
Let me take you down to the memory lane. Back in December 2012, I got Chase, my now 6-year old Shih Tzu as a Christmas present. He is my first pet ever, and I treat him like a child. I am not kidding! He is like a baby that I could never have. The first year was crazy. Yes, I mean literally crazy! It was because I seriously bought him dozens of outfits, foods, treats, and anything I imagined he would need.

Admittedly, I learn along the way that Chase does not need everything that I had bought for him. Like, he only eats two brands of foods and treats. And the outfits, he does not like it. He can get by with a scarf though. In reality, I was dismayed, but I also realized how much money I had saved from not buying all the unnecessary stuff. Dave Ramsey would be so proud of me!😊
Given the foods and treats that Chase like, I can organize it easily in a designated small space in our pantry. The idea of having everything organized with labels is refreshing; knowing that when I am not at home, my husband could easily feed him with the right food and give him his favorite treats.
In my previous post, I mentioned about my shopping relationship with HomeGoods. I mean, who does not like this place? Working from home requires me to find good reasons to go out, and it just happened that HomeGoods is becoming my favorite hangout where I score great stuff. Few of the items I purchased aside from home decors and kitchen items are Chase food organizers. Each piece is simple; nothing fancy at all. But it sure serves the purpose. Most of all, it is inexpensive.
My Pet Food Organizers
Dog Food Storage Canister – I love this round canister with teal cover and gold handle. It is what I used to store Chase dry food, and it is easy to clean. In case you are wondering what dry food he eats for snacks. It is Purina Dog Chow Little Bites for small dogs. 😀
Treats Canister – Most likely, Chase is a bit different than other dogs because he does not like biscuits or any treats. Well, except for Good ‘n’ Fun Triple Flavor Ribs.
