The 2019 Budget Binder Free Printables can help you keep track of your finances. Know where your money goes and stay in control of every dollar at all times. Start saving!
Have you ever dreamed of becoming debt-free and have a savings account? The secret is simple. Start keeping track of your finances. Identify the expenses that you can cut back or eliminate and find ways to increase your monthly take-home pay. Perhaps you’re saying at this very moment, yeah, it’s easier said than done. I completely agree! But don’t you want to improve your finances in 2019?
Do you have those moments when you’re desperately waiting for your payday? Comes your paycheck and here you are excited and happy to have money in your wallet again. But after a few days, you find yourself barely surviving that if you have car issues or emergency expenses, you can’t take care of it without using your credit cards. Month after month you feel like it’s the same cycle.
When it comes to finances, you should be proactive in taking control of where every dollar goes. It’s simple math. Income (paycheck) minus expenses equals net income. Depending on how well you manage your money the net income could be either positive or negative. Would it be better to see positive net income month after month though instead of the other way around? I don’t know about you, but my family applies the Dave Ramsey money principles. We cut all of our credit cards about 5-years ago, and we never look back.
WHAT’S INSIDE THE 2019 BUDGET BINDER?
Cover – A simple cover that you can place in front of your binder.
Financial Goals Tracker – This is where you list your financial goals for the month along with last month goals for comparison purposes. Be sure to list your goals, set a time frame and take action plan. Financial goals can be as simple as adding $100 to a savings account, paying off the credit card, or cutting back expenses from dining out.
Monthly Budget – I highly recommend using the zero-based budget which means giving every dollar a function. Total Income – Total Expenses = $0. This concept assigns a name to every dollar which is giving value to every dollar. Read this post for more information.
List of common expenses:
Pet Supplies/ Care
Credit Cards/ Debt
Note: Expenses may vary in every home depending on the number of family members, the season of life, and the preferred lifestyle.
Monthly Other Expenses Breakdown – It’s always good to know what are those miscellaneous items that otherwise only listed as Other Expenses. It sure helps you make necessary adjustments. For example, your daily Starbucks coffee expenses.
Bill Payment Tracker – If you’re just getting started, I highly recommend that you use this tracker to get the accurate number of each bill and of course, to stay on track of your monthly payments. If you haven’t done already, be sure to sign up your accounts for autopay this will save you from potential late fees in case the paper bill is lost in transit, or you’re away traveling.
Outstanding Debt Information – Don’t you want to track your progress in paying off your debt? The outstanding debt information includes a full payment target date to motivate you to keep pushing forward. Without a time frame, taking accountability is missed!
Debt Snowball Payment Tracker – This method works great! It inspires you to keep pushing harder to get your debts paid off. It shows you where you stand with details. Read this post for more information.
Savings Account Information – Depending on the number of entries you make monthly on this sheet, you can use the same page for the following month. That way, it’s easier to track where you stand each month. By the end of the year, you can just add the total amount of your monthly entries. Depending on the frequency of your paycheck, you’ll most likely have at least two entries monthly.
